Drawing

Never had the luxury to learn art in school. In fact, only lately (June 2008) I was first exposed to mediums like charcoal. After a beginner drawing class, I finally found my interest to be - drawing antiques. Why? It is precious to own but by drawing it, I own a replica. :)

Typography

There is way more than taking a class to get the credits. Aside from learning to really appreciate type, this is an action I took in response to the feedback from a hiring manager earlier this year.

Oh... once you appreciate the asethetics of type, everything looks wrong. Kern, kern, kern. And - never use screen fonts for prints!

The word on the right is an exercise to interpret typographically a word of emotion based on the personality of type.
