Dear Me,
A lateral career move is more challenging than I would have imagined, and the economy doesn't help either. However my the desire to design and to solve the UI problems remains_rock_solid.
Having researched and consulted numerous design professionals for feedback I have come to accept that my current skills can get me somewhere, elsewhere. For designing in Microsoft, I need a lot more hard work.
Being one of them who shoots for the stars and hires the only very best, I understand, therefore, refused to be discouraged. May not be the perfect child right now, but time will prove. Time will prove that I can be both the "Gold Star" in my current role AS WELL AS the dream role in UX design.
The long hibernation is over. I am back to my garage UX projects and will be posting them on this site shortly.
